Our beloved Buffy will return for another season, via Dark Horse Comics.
Joss Whedon and Dark Horse announce that everyone’s favorite vamp-dusting beauty Buffy and her beloved Scoobies will return for another run in Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 11.
In the new story arc, Ms. Summers and her peeps take the show on the road as they look for a little rest and peace after the demon-filled events of season 10. However, the San Francisco vacay is interrupted by the usual amounts of monsters and mayhem as the gang are forced to save the world.
Again.
Scribe Christos Gage and artist Rebekah Isaacs return to the saddle for season 11.
“Buffy fans have been wonderful to Rebekah and me throughout Season 10, so I couldn’t be more excited to keep our creative team together for Season 11,” said Gage. “True to form, Joss is not content to just rest on his well-earned laurels, so Season 11 will shake things up with a story that’s shorter, bigger, more epic, and presents what may be the greatest challenge Buffy and the Scoobies have ever faced.”
The run of season 11 will span 12 issues and begin on November 23, 2016.
Buffy creator Joss Whedon is signing on Saturday, July 23, from 5 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.in the Dark Horse booth at San Diego Comic-Con. Christos Gage will sign from 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, July 21.
