From the Great War to the Cold War, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is set to return to theaters, this time fighting Ruskies as Princess Diana of Themyscira, Daughter of Hippolyta takes on the Cold War of the ‘80s.
According to intel nabbed back in July and new details emerging over the past week, it appears that the new Wonder Woman will be yet another period piece, this time set in the land of big hair, shoulder pads and Reaganomics.

There is no question that the ‘80s are hot right now. Thanks to mega hits like The Goldbergs and Stranger Things, as well as box-office blockbusters such as It, it seems that audiences will spend the better part of the 2010s inundated by striped polo shirts with popped collars, Young MC sound bites and ALF references.
Helmer Patty Jenkins is also set to return to the director’s chair.
Jenkins’ deal is a milestone in itself it marks the biggest payday for any femme director this side of the Hollywood sign. But what do you expect for the true hero of the DCEU?
Just a small reminder: WW grossed over $402M domestically and has topped the $800M worldwide. And while Batman v.
