‘Co-Creator: The Bill Finger Story’, The True History of Batman’s Origins Will Be Staged in Massachusetts Theater Starting This Weekend

Attleboro Community Theatre is thrilled to close their 61st Season with CO-CREATOR, written by local playwright (and Forces of Geek comic reviewer) Lenny Schwartz and co-directed by Jeanne Smith and Dave Almeida.

CO-CREATOR is a biographical play about the comic book writer Bill Finger, the man who helped Bob Kane create Batman and most of the Batman Universe and who was denied credit for his creations by Kane. This play will examine the life, loves, and milestones of Bill Finger’s career, and how this imaginative, generous, and creative artist made a huge impression on artists of all genres for years to come.

Performances will be held at the Ezekiel Bates Masonic Lodge, located at 71 North Main Street in Attleboro.  Performance dates are May 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, and 20th. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 8pm, and Sunday matinees will be at 2pm. Doors will open one hour prior to each performance.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 or $18 online via https://squareup.com/market/acttickets. Senior and student discounts apply at the door or online for $15. Please consider reserving seats in advance of each performance by calling (508) 226-8100 or emailing [email protected]mail.com.

ACT’s 61st Season is generously supported by the Attleboro Cultural Council, the North Attleborough Cultural Council, the Mansfield Cultural Council, and the Attleboro Elk’s Lodge.
