Stream On: New To Netflix in September 2018

Fall has arrived, which means the kids are back in school, the weather is cooling down and Netflix begins to roll out their ever-growing list of original content, which is slowly but surely outpacing the amount of movies added to the catalog.

September is ripe with a ton of Disney tentpoles, as the box office hits of spring and summer find their way to the streaming service. This includes the megahit Marvel Studios’ Black Panther on September 4 and the not-so-megahit Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time.

Also this month, Netflix stocks up on classics from the Mouse House, including Lilo & Stitch and The Emperor’s New Groove, available on Sept. 2. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl also docks at Netflix beginning on Sept. 25.

In the realm of original content, the second season of the genius American Vandal is available for all your binging needs on Sept. 14. That same day the latest season of BoJack Horseman is primed and ready to offend.

On Sept. 7, Marvel’s Iron Fist unleashes a second season for those who were not completely disappointed with its mediocrity in the first season.

New to the net is the limited series of Maniac starring Jonah Hill and Emma Stone and directed by It’s Cary Fukunaga. The high-profile thriller follows the exploits of two individuals involved in a shady drug trial.

For those looking for to binge from the small screen, Netflix offers up full runs of Once Upon a Time’s seventh season, season three of Quantico, the seventh season of Call the Midwife and American Horror Story: Cult.

Next month: Boo!
