Insight Editions Announces Events & Signings at New York Comic Con 2018

Join Insight Editions at New York Comic Con in booth #1946 for exciting events and exclusive opportunities, including poster giveaways, advance copies, the chance to win a bundle of prizes, and a signing with Matthew Reinhart and Kevin M. Wilson, creators of Harry Potter: A Pop-Up Guide to Hogwarts!

Attendees can visit the Insight Editions booth, have their badges scanned, and walk away with a free limited edition poster. They can choose from either of these two NYCC-exclusive posters: Star Wars Icons: Han Solo and Power Rangers: The Ultimate Visual History (while supplies last):

Insight Editions is partnering with Sideshow Collectibles to give away a Star Wars figure bundle including Han Solo in Carbonite and Boba Fett (Deluxe Version) Sixth Scale figures! This bundle (valued at $500) will be given away to one lucky NYCC attendee. To enter, visit us at booth #1946 and have your badge scanned.

When attendees pick up an early exclusive copy of Pin Game Strong at our NYCC booth, they will get a free NYCC-exclusive pin! The book’s author, pin aficionado Eduardo Morales, aka “Pin Lord,” designed the exclusive NYCC pin.

Insight Editions is bringing the wizarding world to NYCC! To celebrate the upcoming release of Harry Potter: Creatures: A Paper Scene Book, which features multilayer pop-up dioramas capturing beloved scenes from the films, Insight Editions is offering fans a photo-op in a life-size (eight-foot-tall!) Harry Potter paper scene!

Visit the Insight Editions booth to walk into one of the scenes featured in the book and take a photo as a memento of NYCC 2018.

Join master paper engineer Matthew Reinhart, award-winning illustrator Kevin M. Wilson, and others as they discuss the creation of the spectacular new Harry Potter: A Pop-Up Guide to Hogwarts. Panelists will discuss the rewards and challenges of rendering the school of witchcraft and wizardry into a 3D paper masterpiece and invite fans to follow along in creating their very own magical pop.
