Cast Your Vote For The Tripwire Awards 2019

Friend of FOG!, Tripwire editor-in-chief Joel Meadows has been championing US and UK comics for over twenty-five years, first in print and, since 2015, on the web.

For the second Portsmouth Comic Con, taking place 4th-5th May 2019, Tripwire will be launching THE TRIPWIRE AWARDS, an new awards which aims to celebrate the very cream of UK and US comic talent.

According to Meadows, “We have been promoting comics for 26 years now and we thought it was time for us to launch our own awards which would take our support to another level.”

In addition to Meadows, the award nominations were selected by a panel that featured

Leonard Sultana (The Convention Collective), Tim Cundle (The Mass Movement), and Olly MacNamee (The Comicon).

Nominations for the eleven categories are open for people to vote on through April 30th, 2019, and the results of the awards will be announced at a special inaugural ceremony on Saturday, May  at the Portsmouth Comic Con.
