“I started planning for Fast 10 before we started filming Fast 9, very much so,” Diesel said. “The universe is so robust and so rich with talent and rich with story that, on one level, it’s totally feasible to have spinoffs, and I think that’s something that is inevitable. Universal deserves it because of how much they’ve invested in this little saga, and it’d be good to give back to Universal. And for the fans, should Fast 10 parts one and two be the conclusion, it would be nice for this world to continue for generations to come.”
One of the changes as a result of the events during Crisis on Infinite Earths is that Superman/Clark Kent and Lois Lane now have two sons, instead of one. The CW has cast Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin will portray Jonathan and Jordan Kent, respectively.
According to the report, “Elsass’ Jonathan is clean-cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn’t seem dated.” In contrast, “Garfin’s Jordan is wildly intelligent, but his mercurial temperament and social anxiety limits his interactions with people.” It also notes that “Jordan prefers to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games.”
Illumination Has Released the Minions: The Rise of Gru Trailer
Minions: The Rise of Gru serves as a continuation of the 2015 film Minions, this time focusing on the Minions (Pierre Coffin) during their first encounter with a young Felonious Gru (Steve Carell), a 12-year-old with a dream to become the world’s greatest supervillain.
In the heart of the 1970s, amid a flurry of feathered hair and flared jeans, Gru is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. Luckily, he gets some mayhem-making backup from his loyal followers, the Minions. Together, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto—a new Minion sporting braces and a desperate need to please—deploy their skills as they and Gru build their first lair, experiment with their first weapons and pull off their first missions.
When the Vicious 6 oust their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles (Alan Arkin), Gru interviews to become their newest member. It doesn’t go well (to say the least), and only gets worse after Gru outsmarts them and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. On the run, Gru will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles himself, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.
The sequel, directed by Kyle Balda (Minions) and Brad Ableson, is set to hit theaters on July 3.
Quibi is in the process of developing a new comedy-action series titled Die Hart, with Jumanji star Kevin Hart attached to lead the series as a fictionalized version of himself. Joining Hart is Golden Globe winner John Travolta, who is returning to the small screen after 4 years since starring and producing FX’s award-winning miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story in 2016.
Inspired by the opening sequence from Hart’s 2016 concert film, Die Hart will follow Kevin Hart as meta version of himself who’s tired of always getting cast as a comedic sidekick. He gets his wish when a famous director offers him his dream – to be a leading man action star – but there’s a catch: Kevin must first train at the world’s greatest action star school, run by a lunatic (John Travolta). Pushed to his limits by this action school coach and a tough-minded rival student, Kevin must survive a series of hilarious, over-the-top action sequences and face his fears if he wants to achieve his dream and land the role of a lifetime.

“[The Eternals is] an epic that spans 7,000 years of human history, has cosmic connotations, and changes everything we know about the MCU,” Kevin Feige explained. “It’s ambitious, and takes…from present-day to Mesopotamia to all sorts of locations and time periods and really feels like nothing we’ve done before.”
“We will see the Celestials in their full, true, enormous power in Eternals, yes,” Feige said.“Deviants are in the film. The Deviants in the comic book mythology were…extremely important plans of the Celestials…and we will see Deviants that look unlike anything we’ve seen in the comics. This is a new form of Deviants that we’ll see in the movie.”
