Last month, this book left off on one hell of a cliffhanger.
This issue picks right up where we left off. Dan Jurgens has been writing one heck of a story on this book. This is the issue where a lot of the recent plot lines come to a head!
The beginning of the issue shows us the future.
It seems to Terry and a woman are in charge of guarding something. It is a bit jarring at first.
Then, the woman betrays Terry. She phones in to an unknown party. It is a nice little mystery that really gets the issue going.
We then head into Wayne Manor to hear about how Dick’s daughter Elainna is missing.
The Bat Family have a discussion about it. Things get a little heated because everyone knows Elainna is the Batwoman that is going around. Everyone takes a few moments to regroup as well.
After this, we head over to see the villainous Blight. He is doing some kind of crazy experiment.
Then, Batwoman appears! She fights Blight and it is a really cool scene. Batwoman frees the man that Blight was working on. The issue ends with Blight swearing bloody vengeance on Batwoman for her transgression!
Jurgens keeps things rocking and rolling throughout. There are a few questions I have about certain characters who have storylines that are still hanging. But I am sure he will get to it in coming issues. Sean Chen does a great job on the art as well.
This is a good book that is consistently entertaining with each new issue that comes out.
