‘DCeased: Unkillables #3’ (review)

Written by Tom Taylor
Art by Karl Mostert
Published by DC Comics

This is the final issue of Tom Taylor’s completely depraved look at a different DC Universe. This series has been a lot of fun watching classic characters become infected. It has also been a good time watching other DC characters fight those who are infected!

The orphanage is under siege at the beginning of the story. The Infected are attacking and it is up to the most unlikely group of characters to save the kids in the orphanage and to maybe even find safe ground.

We then get an exciting chase scene that has to be seen to be believed. It is great to see Deathstroke thrust into the hero role. The chase scene leads to some disastrous results.

And that is when things really get crazy!

The infected Wonder Woman attacks! In an ironic twist of fate, Cheetah is the one who has to try and stop her. This buys Deathstroke’s crew some time to try and escape. But even if they do, they might be headed for something completely worse than this!

This book has one hell of an ending. All I can say is that the Shazam family is involved and it ends this series on an even keel.

Taylor has done a great job reimagining the DC universe,  and I can’t wait to see what his plans are next.

RATING: A-
