‘Green Lantern Season 2 #4’ (review)

Written by Grant Morrison
Art by Liam Sharp
Published by DC Comics

I love anything that Grant Morrison is the writer on.

This book here is no exception.

He has an excellent take on the Green Lantern mythos and he is really strutting his stuff here. This book is unique and character driven, and it is unlike anything on the stands presently.

Hal Jordan is physically in a weird place when this book starts up. Then, Barry Allen appears to help Hal out! It is especially cool because we get to see how Liam Sharp draws the Flash. I love Sharp’s art and he does not disappoint.

The two come across Olivia Reynolds who is standing in front of a frame.

A hand appears and drags her into the frame. The Flash and Green Lantern then go and chase her into a new place. And that is when the entire comic book goes nuts.

And trust me, it is bananas.

I loved it. You have to expect craziness and wonder going into any Grant Morrison written comic book. And it is completely wonderful. I have to say that I was unprepared for this issue and the story within. The two of them also fight a villain unlike any other.

This is great. The story is completely wild. This art again by Sharp is fantastic. I loved every second of this. The two creators are working together wonderfully and the results are tremendous. I can only imagine where they might take us next. I can’t wait to see.

RATING: A
