‘DCeased: Dead Planet #4’ (review)

Written by Tom Taylor
Art by Trevor Hairsine
Published by DC Comics

This has been another great series in the DCeased franchise.

Writer Tom Taylor really knows how to keep the action and horror exciting and fun. He also develops his characters, even though this is an alternative DC world. If is a mighty feat and I am enjoying this very much.

The Anti-Life equation has really worked it’s way through the DC Universe.

The remaining heroes have gathered at the beginning of the issue. They are planning a big heist that will hopefully bring this whole thing to a close. They have a lot of obstacles in the way, however.

A few of the team members head over to New Genesis to find the item that is going to help them out.

Things don’t go as planned of course. Mister Miracle coaxes out somebody that I wasn’t expecting to see: Metron.

The gang talks to Metron. They have a conversation with him. Then things get crazy. Cyborg sits on Metron’s chair.

Then, someone unexpected appears.

That’s right, Darkseid is here.

Except this Darkseid is infected and looks completely and utterly nuts.

This is a pretty entertaining book. It moves fast. Almost a little too fast if I am being honest.

The story is intriguing and I never know where we are going.

The art by Hairsine is pretty damn good as well. I am addicted to this book and I cannot get enough.

RATING: B+
