‘Strange Adventures #6’ (review)

Written by Tom King
Art by Mitch Gerads and Evan Shaner
Published by DC Comics

This book has been completely awesome.

I have to say that this is my favorite iteration of the Adam Strange character. The creative team have been killing it on this title and this has been a lot of fun from the very first issue. This issue is great as well.

The story starts off with Mr. Terrific finding his investigation into Adam Strange coming up against some hurdles.

The whole world seems to be coming up against him. Yet, he is determined to find out the truth. This leads him into some interesting places in the issue.

We then pick up with Adam Strange looking over the planet of Rann.

This is probably the best image of the series, if not of the best images of any comic  book this year. Adam is gazing because he is going to die. He also thinks that there is no hope left for him.

The Pykkts are aliens looking to take over the world. Adam Strange is saying that he might be the only one that can save everything. Mr. Terrific digs into Strange’s past while Adam tries to stay alive. Adam also has to try and save everything as well. What a life!

Tom King does a great job writing this book. It is full of great details and a good sense of humor. The art is fantastic as well with some great moments throughout.

This is a solid series that keeps getting better with each new issue!
