‘Super Sons Book Three: Escape To Landis’ (review)

Written by Ridley Pearson
Art by Ile Gonzalez
Published by DC Comics

The previous two Super Sons were pretty enjoyable.

They have been pretty accessible if you start from the beginning. It is definitely a trilogy though, and this is the third part. This is a satisfying conclusion to a decent young adult series.

Anyone of any age can enjoy this.

This book starts off with the team learning that the villains called the Four Fingers have made their way to the land of Landis. The Four Fingers are hiding out there away from the world.

This does not sit too well with the Super Sons and they decide to do something about it.

They get wind that the villains have a deadly virus that they are going to unleash.

We get to see Batkid, Tilly,  and Superboy make their way to Landis. They have to stop the virus from being put out into the world. It is a pretty thrilling story and it is exciting throughout.

Candace makes her way to the island. A bit of annoying mistaken identity happens at this point.

She meets a group there that think she is the queen of Landis. But she very well might be! Eventually, the team is reunited with Candace and it does lead to one hell of an action packed conclusion.

It also seems to conclude the series.

This is a good book overall. The story is clear and enjoyable with a lot of witty banter. The art suits the story perfectly and it is easy to follow the action throughout.

Overall, this has been a great series and I have been entertained pretty much throughout.

RATING: B+
