THE LIL B QUESTION

I wish Lil B made sense to me.

In interviews, he actually sounds pretty lucid. But on the records, he just seems to be babbling. Almost like a more lyrically organized Joaquin Phoenix.

His “based” (stream of conscious) freestyles make no sense. Half the time he brings up celebrities and basically repeats the same things over and over.

It’s barely rapping.

If anyone can make any sense of it, feel free to leave a comment.

Right now, I’m going to clean my ears and listen to Rakim.
