LOOT CRATE Celebrates Their First Birthday And Now Is The Best Time To Join Their Party!

Last week I chatted with Chris Davis and Matt Arevalo, co-founders of Loot Crate, a monthly geek/gamer subscription box and walked away incredibly impressed with what they are building and the direction in which the company is heading.

Loot Crate is simply a subscription service (under twenty dollars a month with shipping; cheaper with multiple months) that sends out a thematic box of carefully cultivated ephemera.  There’s usually a few top tier items in the box which is supplemented with several other items of similar theme.

In recent months themes have included Domo, Marvel, Doctor Who, Star Wars and Retro Video Games, and based on the contents, the selections are pretty impressive.

But the most impressive thing that I learned talking to Chris and Matt is how dedicated they are to a positive customer experience.   Customer service is the number one priority, and they want to continue to listen to customer feedback and apply it making Loot Crate a unique environment and each box an event (subscribers are encouraged to not only film and share the unboxings on YouTube, but Loot Crate also provides steps for the perfect unboxing.)

August is the culmination of Loot Crate’s first year online and things are just getting better.
