WATCH THIS! Howlin’ For You

It’s amazing how despite the fact that MTV doesn’t play videos any more, that the medium has not only continue to evolve, but has also given us some great directors.

Among them Anton Corbijn, Dominic Sena, Mc G, John Hillcoat, David Slade, F. Gary Gray, Michel Gondry, Marc Webb, Jonathan Glazer, Mark Romanek, Tarsem, Mark Pellington, and such icons as Spike Jonze, Alex Proyas and David Fincher.

And now there’s a new potential player.

Chris Marrs Piliero has directed several commercials and videos, but his latest, Howlin’ For You by The Black Keys pushes it up a notch.

Starring Tricia Helfer, Sean Patrick Flanery, Corbin Bernsen, Todd Bridges, Diora Baird, Christian Serratos and Shaun White, Piliero’s video is shot as a trailer for a fictitious Grindhouse film and is so well executed, I’m surprised that his feature debut hasn’t been announced.

Check it out after the jump.
