Nadir’s Zenith #1 has a lot going for it.

In a hundred years from now we’re jumping through time and space, and captain John Nadir must accept the secret mission passed to him.

Mixing the best of usual touchstones for the genre like Star Trek, Babylon 5 and Star Wars, the series is off to a compelling start.

The storytelling in the art is done well, not a tightly rendered story by any means, but great composition and acting on the page—which could be more important these days!

A one-shot in a series of books set in this alternate world where strange things occur.

Shadows reveals what really happens when you turn out the lights and the cat scurries across the floor.

Do the shadows speak your name and call for you at night? This book asks that question.

This is an intelligently drawn book about things that go bump in the night.

The back-matter leads us to other books in the On The Verge series, building on a world where supernatural phenomena occur and the team investigating them. Great stuff in this ink wash illustrated black and white story.

What starts off as your typical Joe Kubert D-Day invasion story quickly turns into a blood curdling tale of Easy Company facing a coven of monster children…hungry for blood!

As if the horrors of war wasn’t enough for these poor soldiers, they now face the supernatural!

Great classic war comics art here coupled with the horror makes for a fun and not quite gruesome yet book.  Will definitely be reading the rest of this 4-issue mini series.
