‘DCeased: Unkillables #2’ (review)

Written by Tom Taylor
Art by Trevor Scott
Published by DC Comics

This spinoff of DCeased is just as wild and fun as the main series.

That is because writer Tom Taylor has a lot of fun writing this book. Everything is completely macabre and I just love it. It is a hell of a good time from start to finish as you get to see the DC characters as never before!

The opening has Commissioner Gordon and a few members of the Bat-family having a discussion. They have a bunch of the undead locked up behind a door. They discuss what to do from there.

Then, they all form a plan.

From there we get to see Mirror Master and Lady Shiva having a talk with Cassandra Cain.

This leads to an awesome brawl  between the two that ends in a completely surprising way. Things then get darker from there.

We get to see Deathstroke and a few of the villains having a gathering. That is when an infected Wonder Woman shows up and starts killing the villains that are there. It is a brutal, but visceral scene.

Right after that, Mirror Master tries to get away but is attacked. And that is when things get a bit more wild.
Mirror Master gets infected. He eventually bites Bane! That is when all hell breaks loose. It leads to a crazy cliffhanger!

It had me on the edge of my seat. This is a well done book from start to finish. I can’t wait to see how they conclude this mini-series event.
