This is the penultimate issue of this fine series. It has been a ton of fun thus far.
Writer Mark Russell creates stories that are very funny but also have a bit of political commentary to them as well. He does a great job of that in this book as well, and it is very enjoyable.
In the issue, Falco recounts how this island was built.
We get to see what it was like at the beginning. Falco thought that this island was going to be a thing that would really help people out. But he gets to see that dream corrupted as the island becomes what it is today.
Meanwhile, Shelley Bly gets the people she was with out of the trap they all fell in.
Just as Shelley tries to make her escape, she comes across Trent. That is when we learn about many of the characters different plans and how they end up screwing each other over. It is fun to read and witness.
The whole comic has come together very nicely. The story has been superb snd the artwork is very well done. Artist Steve Pugh has always done great work and he knocks it out of the park again here with this book.
This is some great stuff overall and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
